He is an active architect and industrial designer consulting to clients worldwide. He is a Founding Principal of Ahearn | Schopfer Associates, an Architectural/Interior Design Firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Schopfer has received numerous awards/publications and has had work exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art and other Institutions.

He holds degrees in Architecture from Syracuse University and a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
